Not entirely sure if I was allowed to drive down the yellow path that it directed me to (since nobody was getting out of the way and it didn't look like a road). But went through the bollards at the end (on the right). No spaces even though people parking on the road near the blue traffic sign with red cross and white arrow (for no parking to the right of the sign). Decided not to risk it so left. But would have been a good parking place if there were spaces.

Be careful with public street parkings in Alicante. The police uses mobile restriction signs to enforce temporary parking restrictions, with forbidden hours written by hand in white paint. We paid the parking here for a day and the car (together with all the other cars in the parking lot) was lifted by police over the night, because the parking was needed for a sporting event. There was no notice of the event taking place, not even in Spanish, let alone other languages. The parking meter was issuing tickets as normal. The only mention in the police report was of this mobile sign, about 1 m tall, which could have been placed there even after we had parked.

Good and cheap parking. Highly recommended.
